Our Story
Homway was born from a passion for student and a belief that authentic, community-focused accommodations should be accessible to everyone. Our founders, avid backpackers themselves, experienced firsthand the transformative power of staying in hostels – the friendships formed, the cultural exchanges, and the unique local insights that traditional hotels simply couldn't provide.
Launched in 2025, we set out to create a platform that would not only make booking hostels easier but would also highlight the unique character and community aspects that make hostel stays so special. What began as a small directory of hand-picked hostels will later grow into a comprehensive booking platform connecting student and travelers with thousands of hostels and accommodation across the globe.
Despite our growth, our mission remains unchanged: to foster meaningful travel experiences by connecting student with authentic, community-focused accommodations that won't break the bank.
We believe accommodation should be accessible to everyone, regardless of budget. We believe in the power of cultural exchange and the lasting impact of genuine human connections made while traveling away from home.
