1. Introduction

Welcome to Homway! These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking and Reservations

When you make a reservation through our platform, you enter into a direct agreement with the hostel and it manager. We act as an intermediary between you and the accommodation provider, the agent and landlord.

2.1 Confirmation

A reservation or connection is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with a reference number. Please ensure all details are correct upon receiving your confirmation.

2.2 Payment

All payment, both the reservation or connection fee and the first payment should be made through us to the accommodation providers. While you make the payment of the reservation or connection fee directly on our platform, you are expected to make the first or ratio payment of the hostel fee in not more than 48 hours or two working days (Sunday exclusive) after the day of reservation or connection fee payment. You can make the payment by coming physically or directly to our location @Behind Engineering Workshop, Lautech Main Campus, Ogbomoso (from 9am to 5pm), where you will be given the direction to your hostel and probably the key to your room, and as a case, meeting with your roommate. Or reach us directly on our official Whatsapp platform at (+234 708 353 9330) to make the payment.

3. Cancellation Policy

Failure to make the First or ratio payment of the hostel fee, before 48 hours or two working days passed, after the day of reservation or connection fee payment, will leads to cancellation of your reservation or connection, without refund. You are only advice to make a hostel reservation or connection with roommate when you are ready for the hostel payment and moving in.

In general, cancellations of reservation or connection made by you within 72 hours after the reservation or connection fee payment may be eligible for a full or partial refund of both your reservation or connection fee and your hostel first or ratio payment (if already paid), depending on the reason for cancellation and hostel's or manager specific policy. cancellations made more than 72 hours after the reservation or connection fee payment may not be eligible for any refund. As for roommate or connection, you are still eligible to file for refund of your hostel ratio payment, in not more than 21 days after moving in: this is allowed to ensure the flexibilty of choice in continues living together or seperation, maybe due to incompactibility with the room owner or some other specific reasons. Please review these policies carefully before completing your reservation or connection as the case may be.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account and making reservations or connections
  • Respect the rules and policies of the hostels you secured
  • Not engage in any fraudulent or illegal activities on our platform
  • Not use our platform to book accommodations for illegal purposes
  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users and hostel staff

5. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide accurate information about the hostels listed on our platform, we cannot 100% guarantee the accuracy of all details. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in hostel descriptions, ratings, or amenities. You are hereby advice to make a proper inspection of the hostel before making the full payment. You can always contact us if you will like to do inspection of any vacant hostel at contact@homwayapp.com or directly on whatsapp at (+234 708 353 9330). Note: our physical involvement in inspection services may attract charges.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform or services, including but not limited to:

  • Issues with your stay at a hostel booked through our platform
  • Actions or omissions of hostel staff or other guests
  • Loss of personal belongings during your stay
  • Technical issues that may affect our platform

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our platform after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
